RSS

Most of us have heard of RSS but didn’t know much about it.
RSS may not be part of OCS but it is good to know people do communicate using it.
Somewhere somehow you will stumble it in your outlook 2007 , it is called RSS feed .

This is how it looks like in your outlook 2007 :-

RSS is the acronym for Really Simple Syndication.

This is what Wikipedia define it :

“RSS (most commonly translated as "Really Simple Syndication" but sometimes "Rich Site Summary") is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated works—such as blog entries, news headlines, audio, and video—in a standardized format.”

If you want more information you can refer to the link below.

For most common people this is how Oprah going to explain on RSS.

“Today, I’m going to explain how RSS can help you live your best life online.
We all have busy lives with very little time. Web surfing is fun but can take hours going to visit every single website and blog you enjoy. Wouldn’t it be fabulous if you could just get all the headlines of the most current stories from all your favorite websites and blogs in one place?
Well now you can, and it is called RSS feed. “

Most of us don’t realise outlook and internet explorer is actually the RSS Reader.

You can get the step on how to subscribe the rss feed using your outlook from the link below:
